Saturday August 23rd! News for your blues! What’s up?

Dearly Devoted Few, Looks Like I haven’t posted a blog entry in a bit. I have been busy raising a daughter and trying to put my rubber ducks in a row. I have narrowed my focus on trees, bushes and other vegetation that will bear fruit metaphorically speaking. I now have a bunch of videos on youtube I feel might be worth watching. https://www.youtube.com/user/paulchasejr The latest as shown above “Losing It” is a solemn tune with a heartbreaking feel. If you like sad stuff this for you. Stay tuned on social media for the next few videos coming out soon. I just need to put the finishing touches on them. I finished my 7th kids song for my upcoming children’s album/books and I am in the process of seeking a publisher. Know anybody? Please don’t hesitate to connect us. The latest story/song is about an empathetic child hero “Kaya Rose” who battles a tyrannic boy named Bill with her ability to listen, understand and empathize. It’s set to an old country style and feel. Picture a galloping horse trot and the Tijuana Brass in the background. Dun du du dun dun du du dun “KAYA ROSE!”  3 more to go to meet my goal. Of course I’ll keep you informed. We recently got back from a 10 day trip to Arkansas where we stayed on top of Petit Jean Mountain. Beautiful doesn’t begin to describe it. Heat or no heat. I’ve never been one to complain hot or cold anyway. I just as soon sweat as jump into a ice cold river. I am a bit tapped I guess. Here’s a pic from where we stayed and the second photo is from Petit Jean’s peak overlooking The Arkansas River. IMG_8314 IMG_8358 If your ever in Central Arkansas you will have to visit Petit Jean Mountain. If your interested in a place to stay this is where to look http://www.gopetitjean.com/ Super nice people and a great place to stay. I had a few late night jams overlooking Ada Valley with friends and family. I also got to visit family in Orion, Arkansas where I got to sing and play some hymns and gospel songs. I am not a religious man but I love music. I guess I’ll wrap this one up. I am playing Saturday August 23rd at The Hive in Kennebunk, ME from 8pm to 10pm and again on August 30th at The Hive with Scott Girouard for a benefit for Children It’s a $5 cover and all the money goes to Power of Elle, which raises money for children’s charities. A special night for a special cause. Please attend. Here is a video from Scott I recorded at my home studio a while back. Humbly Thankful, Paul “May Your Journey Be A Good One!”
